Job Title: Junior to Mid-Level SQL Developer
Location: Onsite (5 days per week)
Duration: 12-Month Contract to Hire
Salary (Conversion): $90,0000 (flexible depending on experience)
Hourly Rate (Contract): around $40
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Junior to Mid-Level SQL Developer to join our growing development team and contribute to key initiatives. This is a contract-to-hire position, with the potential for full-time conversion after a year-long evaluation. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in SQL development, experience with SSIS, and an understanding of database design and ETL processing. Knowledge of React and web development is a plus but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with team members to design and develop database solutions.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL Server databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Assist in ETL processing, database programming, and SSIS development.
- Support data migrations and integrations from legacy systems to modern technologies (SQL, C , React).
- Contribute to the ongoing development of web platforms using React (future focus).
- Perform database performance tuning and troubleshooting.
- Help integrate systems (including HR/Payroll with ERP and potential Workday integration).
- Participate in two rounds of interviews and possibly a technical assessment.
Top Skills Required:
- Database Development & Programming – Strong experience with SQL Server, SSIS, and ETL processes.
- Database Design & SQL Landscape – Expertise in designing databases with an understanding of SQL architecture.
- SSRS & Web Development – Knowledge of SSRS reporting tools and basic web development skills (React preferred but not required).
Additional Skills (Nice-to-Haves):
- Experience working with ERP systems.
- Familiarity with Workday and integration best practices.
- Knowledge of C or other modern programming languages.
