We are in search of a Sr. Accountant to join our team located in San Leandro, California. In this role, you will be expected to handle a variety of accounting tasks, including account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations. This position is situated in the finance industry and offers an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to showcase their expertise.Responsibilities:Prepare and review financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.Lead the close process at month-end, quarter-end, and year-end, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.Ensure timely and accurate tax reporting and compliance with all relevant tax regulations.Manage payroll processing through ADP, ensuring precision and adherence to regulations.Supervise Staff Accountants managing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.Oversee and reconcile intercompany transactions between affiliated entities.Assist external auditors by providing necessary documentation for annual audits.Lead and mentor a team of two Staff Accountants, promoting a cooperative and efficient work environment.Maintain consistent communication with the international office via email and phone.Provide support for basic HR functions as required.Identify opportunities for process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
