We are offering an exciting opportunity in McKinney, Texas, for a Sr. Accountant to join our team. This role will primarily involve overseeing and managing all accounting operations, including the supervision of personnel. The industry we operate in is fast-paced and dynamic, requiring a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of AP and AR operations.Responsibilities:• Manage and oversee all AP and AR accounting operations, playing a supervisory role over all associated personnel.• Prepare and maintain monthly closing journal entries, including prepaid expenses, goodwill amortization, and payroll expense.• Conduct regular maintenance and reconciliation of all General Ledger accounts, including account analysis and review of monthly journal entries.• Assist in the monthly close process, ensuring books are closed accurately and on schedule.• Maintain Fixed Asset registers and ensure their accuracy.• Participate in the preparation of the annual audit by preparing required schedules and reconciliations.• Contribute to the annual budget process, collaborating with various department leads to establish clear, measurable targets.• Support bi-weekly payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate remuneration.• Assist in Accounting department process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.• Ensure compliance with all internal, external, and governmental audit and regulatory reporting requirements.
