The main responsibilities include verifying financial records and transactions, reconciling bank statements, maintaining general ledger, and assisting with budget preparation. The prospective candidate should possess a comprehensive understanding of accounting procedures, and ideally come from a construction background.Responsibilities:Manage and oversee daily operations of the accounting department.Perform monthly, quarterly and annual accounting activities including reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts, coordination and completion of annual audits, and reviewing financial reports/support as necessary.Collaborate with management in setting and monitoring financial policies and procedures.Assist with the preparation of budget forecasts.Prepare financial statements - P& L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements.Compiling and analyzing transaction data for monthly, quarterly, and annual closes.Ensure accuracy of financial information entered into the accounting system.Adhere to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines.Manage company tax returns to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

Salary : $80,000 - $100,000
