We are looking to add a Sr. Accountant to our team located in Passaic County, New Jersey. Responsibilities
- Oversee the accounting operations for the entire America's region.
- Handle lease agreements across different countries.
- Employ your strong technical skills for process improvement initiatives.
- Provide mentorship to Staff and Entry Level Accountants.
- Utilize your experience in account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations.
- Maintain the general ledger and manage journal entries.
- Use SAP for various accounting operations.
- Oversee the month-end close process.
- Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is a must
- Experience with Balance Sheet Reconciliation is required
- Applicants must have knowledge of Bank Reconciliations
- Proficiency in General Ledger management is necessary
- Ability to perform Journal Entries is essential
- Proficient use of Microsoft Excel is required
- Experience with Month End Close is a must
- IFRS and GAAP experience
- Retail experience required
- Knowledge of SAP is a plus
