Responsibilities
- Analyze financial information and prepare financial reports
- Coordinate the month-end close for multiple properties
- Prepare and analyze financial statements
- Conduct balance sheet and P& L reconciliation
- Take responsibility for year-end audit tasks
- Handle operational budget
- Utilize Microsoft Excel for creating advanced spreadsheets to support summary reports
- Execute account, balance sheet, and bank reconciliations
- Manage general ledger and journal entries
- Use pivot tables and VLOOKUP in Excel for data management and analysis
- Bachelor's in Accounting or similar field preferred, otherwise at least 5 years in general accounting
- Expertise in general ledger maintenance, month end close procedures, preparing monthly financials, journal entries
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
- Familiarity with Property Accounting procedures is helpful - not required
