We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr Credit & Collections Analyst to join our team in Melbourne, Florida. In this role, you will be involved in managing and overseeing credit and collections processes within the industry.
Responsibilities
- Accurately process and approve credit applications
- Manage and maintain accurate customer credit records
- Effectively address and resolve customer inquiries related to credit and collections
- Monitor customer accounts to ensure proper action is taken for past due accounts
- Collaborate with other departments to address and resolve any issues related to customer collections
- Release sales orders on credit hold after thorough review
- Contribute to administrative tasks and ad hoc projects as required
- Assist in the streamlining of accounts receivable processes
- Handle the collection of maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) business
- Contribute to the resolution of customer disputes and the improvement of AR aging.
Requirements
- Applicant must possess a minimum of three years of experience in a similar role as a Senior Credit & Collections Analyst.
- Proficiency in approving credit is a mandatory requirement for this job role.
- Candidates should have experience in handling credit applications and determining credit limits.
- Demonstrable skill in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential.
- Experience in billing collection is required for this role.
- Applicants must have a strong background in commercial collections.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to make sound decisions are necessary.
- Good communication skills and the ability to negotiate effectively are also required.
- The ability to work independently and in a team is essential.
- The candidate must have a strong proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications and any other related software.
