We are offering a contract for a Sr Data Engineer position at our West Des Moines, Iowa location. This role involves managing and organizing large volumes of data, rebuilding our On-Prem data warehouse before transitioning to the cloud, and utilizing various data analysis tools and techniques. Responsibilities:• Manage and maintain On-Prem data warehouses to ensure efficient and accurate data handling• Utilize SSAS (SQL Server Analysis Services) for data analysis, breaking up large volumes of data into more easily analyzed parts• Implement and maintain fact and dimension tables as part of the data architecture• Use data factory tools and techniques for managing and manipulating data• Employ SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) as an ETL tool for data extraction, transformation, and loading• Maintain and manage on-prem SQL servers for efficient data storage and retrieval• Develop and implement stored procedures for managing and manipulating data• Prepare for transitioning to cloud-based data management, specifically Azure• Utilize cloud technologies, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Data Lake for data management and analysis• Apply business intelligence and data warehousing techniques for data analysis and reporting
