You will be involved in the analysis of financial data, forecasting business trends, and making investment recommendations. This role will require you to work closely with accounting and other departments to ensure accurate financial statements and compliance with internal procedures.Responsibilities• Analyze both historical and current financial data to understand the company's financial status.• Use variance analysis to forecast, track KPIs, and identify opportunities for improvement, including cost center analysis and review.• Assist in the preparation and review of financial forecasts and execute financial planning needs.• Support the accounting department in preparing monthly financial statements.• Generate and review weekly/monthly reports including P& L forecasting, Gross Margin Review, & Inventory Balance reporting.• Develop forecasting tools to automate financial data analysis.• Review standard costs and provide ad-hoc financial analysis.• Assist the finance department with the preparation of data for annual audits.• Ensure compliance with internal accounting procedures.• Identify areas of opportunity for cost reductions, efficiency improvements, data analysis, and throughput.• Maintain accurate records, including ledgers, journals, receipts, and invoices.• Reconcile capital expenditures and depreciation to the general ledger.• Develop predictive financial models to support organizational decision-making contributing to the development of long-term financial strategies.• Analyze processes to identify gaps that can improve profit margins.• Track current financial data to alert stakeholders in case of deviation.• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, budgets, forecasts, reporting, and ad hoc information requests.• Provide financial perspective on any contracts into which the Corporation may enter.
Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
