Responsibilities
- Oversee the financial administration of grants, ensuring accurate tracking of expenses and budget preparation
- Develop and prepare accurate financial reports for grant funders, detailing expenditures and showcasing the appropriate use of funds
- Respond promptly and efficiently to inquiries from grantors, providing necessary supporting documentation when required
- Ensure all financial activities related to grants are conducted in accordance with applicable regulations and guidelines
- Identify potential compliance issues and work collaboratively with grant managers to implement necessary corrective actions
- Utilize financial software and ERP systems to maintain accurate customer credit records and process credit applications
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and approved budgets
- Manage capital and cash activities effectively, using tools like Bloomberg Terminal for financial tracking and reporting
- Uphold grant management standards and procedures to ensure consistent compliance.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as a Sr. Grant Accountant.
- Skilled in using various business systems for efficient workflow management.
- Demonstrable expertise in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) for streamlined business operations.
- Familiarity with different financial software to facilitate accounting tasks.
- Proven ability to handle all Accounting Functions efficiently and accurately.
- Experience in conducting Auditing to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
- Proficient in Capital Management strategies to optimize financial resources.
- Ability to manage Cash Activity and ensure accurate financial records.
- Strong understanding of Compliance requirements in financial operations.
- Proven experience in Grant Management and ensuring adherence to grant guidelines.
- Ability to manage Approved Budgets and ensure financial planning aligns with organizational goals.
- Solid understanding of Financial compliance and ability to implement necessary measures.
- Knowledge of Financial regulations and ability to ensure organizational adherence.
