We are offering a contract for a permanent employment opportunity for an experienced Sr. Program Planner/Scheduler II in the aerospace industry, based in Everett, Washington, United States. This role involves a high degree of collaboration with various program teams to develop, maintain, and evaluate program performance against the Performance Measurement Baseline.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules that align with company requirements.
- Incorporate programmatic changes into the schedules to maintain realistic current contract schedule baselines.
- Perform critical path analysis, schedule risk analysis, variance analysis, and other in-depth schedule-related analysis.
- Assist in planning and cost estimating tasks, and prepare reports to ensure that programs meet or exceed schedule commitments.
- Ensure the Integrated Master Schedules are resource-loaded for applicable scope with target budgets, demonstrating thorough cost and schedule integration.
- Engage stakeholders and facilitate the closure of commitments.
- Proactively seek out data, demonstrating a highly analytical and data-driven approach.
- Ensure compliance with corporate and company requirements.
- Use software designed for creating and maintaining industry-related schedules.
- Develop mitigation plans to ensure that the Integrated Master Schedules are used by program teams as a predictive model and as a valued management tool.
- Proficiency in Planning and executing Planning Processes
- Demonstrated experience in Compliance and Compliance Functions to ensure adherence to rules and regulations
- Knowledge of Budget Processes and ability to conduct regular Review and Variance Analysis
- Skilled in Scheduling and Project Management to ensure efficient workflow
- Familiarity with 'About Time' software
- Strong background in Finance and Metric Reporting
- Excellent Communication Skills for liaising with Stakeholders
- Ability to Ensure Compliance with relevant industry standards
- Experience in preparing detailed reports
- Understanding of Risk Mitigation strategies in the context of projects
- Knowledge of Software Development processes
- Ability to perform Predictive Analysis to anticipate project outcomes
- Familiarity with Contractual obligations and procedures
- Proficiency in Risk Analysis to identify and address potential project risks
- Experience with 'Join Me' software
- Understanding of Government Regulation within the Aerospace sector
- Experience working in a Project Management Office (PMO)
- Familiarity with the Aerospace industry and its specific requirements.
