What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staff Accountant position at Robert Half?
We are welcoming a Staff Accountant to our team in the Charlotte area. While this role is fully remote at this point, that will likely change to very hybrid in the future so candidates MUST be local. In this role, you will be tasked with maintaining the integrity of our financial records, conducting thorough analyses of various income statement accounts, and ensuring the accuracy of our overall financial position.Responsibilities:• Accurately process month-end journal entries• Conduct in-depth review and analysis of various income statement accounts• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigate and rectify any discrepancies• Research and determine the proper accounting treatment for transactions relevant to assigned areas of responsibility in compliance with GAAP and established company policy• Actively participate in the monthly and annual close and consolidation process• Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives to streamline accounting processes• Assist in the development and documentation of business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls• Undertake additional duties and responsibilities as required.
Salary : $65,000 - $80,000
