As a Staff Accountant, you will be tasked with a range of responsibilities that include managing accounts payable and receivable, handling financial reporting, and processing payroll for our team. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.Responsibilities:• Manage a complex accounts receivable process involving tracking billing and shipping against contracts with large companies.• Oversee accounts payable ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and payments are made.• Handle monthly financial reporting and month-end close procedures.• Process biweekly payroll for a team of 31, with a mix of salaried and hourly staff.• Reconcile bank transactions and maintain the general ledger.• Generate journal entries as part of regular accounting duties.• Utilize accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various tasks.• Perform additional tasks as necessary, which may include general office duties.
