Staff Accountant

Salary: $25.65 to $29.70 hourly

Description

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in a well-established company. In this role, you will be expected to handle a variety of accounting duties, including bank reconciliations, maintaining accurate records using ERP systems, and providing contract accounting support to our team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough bank reconciliations to ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded
• Utilize ERP systems such as Great Plains and Business Central to maintain and manage financial records
• Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger as part of the month-end close process
• Manage and oversee both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions
• Utilize Dynamics 365 Business Central and SAP B1 - Business One for various accounting tasks
• Maintain a high level of accounting knowledge to ensure all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently
• Support the team with contract accounting tasks as needed
• Use 365 Enterprise and Great Plains (GPAC) to perform various accounting duties.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Strong skills in Accounts Payable (AP) are necessary
• Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) is required
• Experience with Bank Reconciliations is necessary
• Familiarity with General Ledger management is desired
• Capability of managing Journal Entries is required
• Experience with Month End Close procedures is required
• Proficiency in using Great Plains (GPAC) software is needed
• Knowledge of Great Plains Accounting software is required
• Experience with SAP B1 - Business One is necessary
• Proficiency in using Dynamics 365 Business Central is required
• Experience with D365 software is a significant advantage
• Familiarity with 365 Enterprise software is required
