We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in MARION, Ohio. The Staff Accountant will be integral to our team, primarily focusing on maintaining our financial records, including general ledger entries and reconciliations, accounts payable, and inventory management.

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in MARION, Ohio. The Staff Accountant will be integral to our team, primarily focusing on maintaining our financial records, including general ledger entries and reconciliations, accounts payable, and inventory management.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and process all aspects of accounts payable
- Regularly enter journal entries into the general ledger
- Conduct monthly and yearly account reconciliations
- Keep track and report on inventory status
- Handle accruals to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Use Oracle and Microsoft Excel for various accounting tasks
- Ensure all financial records are accurate and up-to-date
- Utilize skills in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, and General Ledger
- Employ knowledge in Journal Entries, Month End Close, NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP.
- Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) processes and systems
- Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) procedures and protocols
- Strong skills in performing Bank Reconciliations
- Expertise in managing the General Ledger
- Ability to prepare accurate Journal Entries
- Experience with Month End Close procedures
- Familiarity with NetSuite financial software
- Proficient in using Oracle financial systems
- Experience with QuickBooks accounting software
- Knowledge of SAP financial management systems
