Main Responsibilities:
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations
- Approve Invoicing
- Approve Cash Receipts
- Responsible for Project Setup and Billing
- Approve New Customer Terms
- Perform Corporate Reporting, Budgeting and Forecasting
- Lead Monthly Financial Close
- Prepare Internal and Financial Reporting Package
- Perform Cost Accounting
- Perform DCAA reporting requirements including the Incurred Cost Submission
- Maintain the Travel and Expense Platform (currently Concur)
- Accountable for meeting reporting deadlines
- Supervise Accounts Receivable
Development Responsibilities:
- Improve financial reporting through automation
- Manage and develop the skills of the Accounts Receivables Specialist
- Develop strong working relationships with other departments to ensure good communication within the company
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA and/or MBA preferred
- 5 years of experience in Public or Private Sector Accounting
- Experience with a Government Contractor Highly Preferred (WAWF)
Skills:
- Knowledge and skill in using computer software, including Excel, MS Word PowerPoint and Adobe
- Deltek Costpoint Experience Highly Preferred
- Cognos Experience Highly Preferred
- Strong decision-making skills and ability to work independently
- Interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
