Supply Chain Manager

Our client in Mocksville, NC is looking for a Supply Chain Manager.

Salary range: $100k-120k bonus

Hybrid: 3 days a week in office, 2 days remote/WFH

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
• 5 years of experience in manufacturing Supply Chain and Procurement with a demonstrated track record of successful supplier negotiation.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and systems.
• Knowledge of supply chain principles and best practices.
• Demonstrated understanding of risk management principles.
• Professional certification in supply chain management or procurement is highly preferred (e.g., CPIM, CSCP, CPSM).

Key Responsibilities:

Sourcing and Supplier Management:

• Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers.
• Negotiating contracts and securing favorable terms.
• Developing and implementing sourcing strategies.
• Building and maintaining strong supplier relationships.

Procurement Process Management:

• Managing the entire procurement process, from requisition to payment.
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Forecasting demand and managing inventory levels.
• Monitoring and improving procurement performance.

Risk Management:

• Identifying potential risks in the supply chain, such as disruptions, delays, and quality issues.
• Developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
• Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to manage risks proactively.

Cost Control and Optimization:

• Analyzing costs and identifying opportunities for cost reduction.
• Negotiating prices and securing discounts.
• Monitoring spending and ensuring budget adherence.

Quality Management:

• Ensuring that products and services meet quality standards.
• Working with suppliers to address quality issues.
• Implementing quality control measures.
