Our client in Mocksville, NC is looking for a Supply Chain Manager.
Salary range: $100k-120k bonus
Hybrid: 3 days a week in office, 2 days remote/WFH
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
- 5 years of experience in manufacturing Supply Chain and Procurement with a demonstrated track record of successful supplier negotiation.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and systems.
- Knowledge of supply chain principles and best practices.
- Demonstrated understanding of risk management principles.
- Professional certification in supply chain management or procurement is highly preferred (e.g., CPIM, CSCP, CPSM).
Key Responsibilities:
Sourcing and Supplier Management:
- Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers.
- Negotiating contracts and securing favorable terms.
- Developing and implementing sourcing strategies.
- Building and maintaining strong supplier relationships.
Procurement Process Management:
- Managing the entire procurement process, from requisition to payment.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Forecasting demand and managing inventory levels.
- Monitoring and improving procurement performance.
Risk Management:
- Identifying potential risks in the supply chain, such as disruptions, delays, and quality issues.
- Developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
- Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to manage risks proactively.
Cost Control and Optimization:
- Analyzing costs and identifying opportunities for cost reduction.
- Negotiating prices and securing discounts.
- Monitoring spending and ensuring budget adherence.
Quality Management:
- Ensuring that products and services meet quality standards.
- Working with suppliers to address quality issues.
- Implementing quality control measures.
