Systems Administrator

We are offering an exciting opportunity in the IT industry for a Systems Administrator based in Lockbourne, Ohio, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting computer hardware and software, while also managing data storage and security. This position requires a thorough understanding of network infrastructure and the ability to implement and manage resource monitoring systems.Responsibilities:• Design, specify, and install computer hardware and software such as servers, operating system software, and routers.• Conduct regular maintenance checks on installed hardware and software to ensure optimal functionality.• Implement and manage data storage systems, ensuring data security and timely backups.• Establish and maintain network users, user environment, directories, and security.• Develop and enforce policies and procedures related to hardware and software acquisition, use, support, security, and backup.• Provide training to users on software, equipment, and network usage.• Respond to network users' questions and needs concerning their access to resources on the network and other technical issues.• Develop and communicate standards for the use, operations, and security of networks, servers, personal computers, and data.• Coordinate with other departments to resolve software, hardware, and operations problems or to implement requested capabilities.• Research and evaluate new technologies to stay updated on industry trends and advancements.• Negotiate contracts with hardware, software, support, and training vendors.• Analyze system utilization and logging data for performance optimization.• Develop, implement, maintain, and test disaster recovery procedures.• Assist in projects involving computer technology as directed.

Salary : $80,000 - $100,000
