Robert Half is working with a local Cedar Rapids Area client that is seeking a Systems Administrator. You will be responsible for implementing, managing, and maintaining key IT infrastructure across servers, storage solutions, hypervisors, Windows networking environments, and cloud services. Acting as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders, this position ensures comprehensive technical reviews, designs, deployments, and advanced support for enterprise applications. Responsibilities:
Administer cloud services such as Microsoft 365, CyberArk, Azure, AWS, and other third-party SaaS solutions, while ensuring compliance with security requirements
Manage and troubleshoot corporate Exchange email systems, including web and mobile access
Deploy and maintain a Microsoft Active Directory environment, overseeing key domain services
Deploy and manage ESX servers, virtualize physical servers, and provision resources while ensuring disaster recovery
Oversee web application firewalls and network load balancers for efficient system performance
Research, propose, install, maintain, and document new technologies to ensure optimal quality and value for the organization
Serve as a technical advisor during project planning phases, ensuring infrastructure sufficiency and supporting deployment readiness

Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Systems Administrator
Proficiency in Active Directory
Understanding of Computer Hardware
Proficiency in VMware
Skilled in Cloud engineering
Experience in Azure Active Directory
