This role requires a high level of detail and organization, as well as a strong understanding of multi-state tax returns, partnership tax returns, and tax research.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive tax research to provide solutions to complex tax issues
- Handle the application and interpretation of tax laws across multiple states
- Accurately process and review M-1 adjustments
- Manage the preparation and review of partnership tax returns and K-1s
- Handle the forecasting of taxable income and the apportionment of revenues and leases to the states
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of subchapter K-1 and its applications
- Take responsibility for composite taxes across multiple states
- Ensure the accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications
- Maintain detailed and accurate customer credit records
- Resolve customer inquiries and monitor customer accounts efficiently.
- Proven expertise in Tax - Partnership is essential for this role.
- Proficiency in handling K-1 is required.
- Previous experience with Multi-state Tax Returns is mandatory.
- The candidate must have a solid background in Partnership Tax Returns.
