We are on the lookout for a skilled Tax Preparer to be part of our team. Located in Newport News, Virginia, the Tax Preparer will play a crucial role in various accounting functions, specifically focusing on individual tax preparation. This role does not involve client interaction and offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities:• Efficiently handle individual tax preparation with a minimum of 2 years of experience• Utilize accounting software systems to streamline tax preparation processes• Conduct thorough data entry to ensure accurate record-keeping• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of deductible items for accurate tax preparation• Ensure all accounting functions are performed in accordance with established procedures and regulations• Manage back office operations without direct client interaction
