We are in the process of recruiting a Tax Sr. - Corporate for our operations in ELVERSON, Pennsylvania, United States. The chosen candidate will be in charge of determining tax liabilities, managing tax reporting, and assisting in financial reporting.Responsibilities:• Oversee the company's sales and use tax reporting procedures• Manage the monthly and quarterly sales tax filings• Handle the gathering of necessary data for use tax remittances • Take charge of the receipt and review of sales tax exemption certificates and maintain them in electronic files• Prepare and manage schedules of sales by state for state tax allocation purposes• Handle filings with regulators related to the company’s business license, sales tax license, business privilege taxes, gross receipt taxes, etc.• Collaborate with external and state accountants during sales tax audits and year-end audit• Ensure the successful completion of the company’s sales and use tax filings• Apply laws and regulations to minimize tax liability• Assist with the monthly closing of books• Continually enhance and document internal processes• Review sales and use tax returns to ensure compliance with state and local tax laws and regulations• Act as a primary internal point of contact for tax-related inquiries and provide proactive advice to minimize tax liabilities and optimize financial outcomes• Work with other departments to implement tax strategies that align with the company's overall financial goals• Stay updated on tax laws and regulations and communicate potential impacts to internal stakeholders.
Salary : $75,000 - $110,000
