We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Technical Program Manager II in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will be responsible for the management of complex IT programs, ensuring their alignment with business goals. Your duties will span across the development of program strategies, project integration, and the adjustment of project scopes, timing, and budgets as necessary.
Responsibilities:
Manage multiple complex IT programs, ensuring their successful completion within the stipulated budget and timeframe.
Develop program strategies that support business cases and high-level project plans.
Adjust project scopes, timing, and budgets as necessary to meet business needs.
Communicate effectively with IT leadership, business leadership, and IT Business Consultants to convey program strategy, direction, and changes.
Ensure that all projects meet strategic and business requirements, tracking key project milestones and recommending adjustments to Project Managers where necessary.
Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and prioritize opportunities for utilizing IT to achieve enterprise goals.
Employ extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of Project Management methodologies and tools.
Uphold compliance standards and adhere to budget processes in all project management tasks.
Utilize leadership skills to guide project teams and ensure effective collaboration.
Apply knowledge in Computer Sciences and Business Administration to improve project planning and execution.
Manage project plans and project portfolios effectively.
Requirements
Proficiency in Compliance procedures and regulations
Knowledge and experience in Budget Processes
Strong skills in Project Management
Familiarity with the 'About Time' software
Demonstrable Leadership Skills
Background in Engineering principles and practices
Ability to liaise and negotiate with Partners effectively
Proven track record of Collaboration in team settings
Capability to make Adjustments in fast-paced environments
Degree in Computer Sciences or related fields
Experience in drafting Business Requirement Document
Expertise in Project Planning strategies and techniques
Ability to set and meet Milestones
Knowledge of A Plus software is beneficial
Experience in managing Project Plan
Ability to manage and oversee Project Portfolio
Project Management Certification is preferred
Familiarity with Open Source software and technologies
Strong skills in Process management
Degree in Business administration or related fields
Knowledge of Very-large-scale integration (VLSI) is a plus
