We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a CAPA Investigator Owner in the industrial sector, based in Round Lake, IL. The chosen candidate will be tasked with managing non-conformance investigations, executing CAPA implementation related to these investigations, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Conduct non-conformance investigations within the Track Wise 8 Management System
- Execute the implementation of CAPAs linked with NCR investigations
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge on current regulatory requirements and act as a plant resource for adherence to these requirements
- Keep assigned areas in an audit-ready state and assist other areas within the facility in maintaining compliance with local procedures, US International Regulatory and corporate quality requirements
- Facilitate and provide guidance on DMAIC problem-solving and process improvement projects for less experienced individuals within the plant
- Display strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Utilize understanding of statistics in support of fact-based decision-making
- Display excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills
- Make independent decisions with minimal oversight
- Exhibit customer sensitivity/acumen and the ability to interact with all levels of management
- Show proficiency in using TrackWise
- Demonstrate working knowledge of FDA Regulations and International Regulatory requirements
- Understand and apply risk management tools
- Be available to work during off-shift or weekends as appropriate to support investigations and training.
- Exceptional communication skills for clear and concise information exchange
- Ability to provide effective training to team members and stakeholders
- Proficiency in developing and following procedures to ensure task accuracy
- Strong compliance and quality control skills to maintain and improve standards
- Previous experience in audit and regulation processes
- Proven track record in successful implementation of strategies and procedures
- Background in engineering and clinical trial operations would be beneficial
- Ability to execute tasks efficiently and effectively
- Commitment to ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory bodies
- Understanding of risk management principles and practices
- Ability to provide oversight on various projects and tasks
- Knowledge of statistics and standard operation procedures
- Excellent decision-making skills to drive project success
- Experience with various management systems
- Strong analytical skills to assess complex situations and provide solutions
- Ability to provide consultation services to team members and stakeholders
- Experience with A Plus software would be advantageous
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and practices
- Knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies and their application
- Excellent facilitation skills to drive team cooperation and productivity
- Ability to provide guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.
