UX Designer/UX Researcher
Hybrid 3 days/week
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced UX Designer to join our team on a contract basis. This individual will play a pivotal role in transforming our dealer-facing and internal portals, with a primary focus on scaling and modernizing our platforms. This role requires proficiency in transitioning designs from Sketch to Figma and linking pages fluently.
You’ll collaborate closely with leadership, dealerships, developers, and the DMP team to ensure our platforms are user-centered, scalable, and future-proofed.
Responsibilities:
- Design System Transition: Migrate existing designs and mockups from Sketch to Figma, ensuring all links and interactions are correctly rebuilt and operational.
- Portal Redesign: Redesign and enhance the scalability of our primary dealer portal, which supports dealership registration, account management, and setup.
- UX Research & Discovery: Conduct qualitative user research (50% of the role) to uncover user needs, pain points, and future requirements for dealership platforms.
- Collaboration with Teams: Partner with leadership, the DMP team, and developers to deliver designs that align with both user needs and technical feasibility.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with dealerships to gather insights, align on requirements, and iterate on designs to meet their long-term needs.
- Internal Platform Optimization: Work on improving internal portals, giving them a modern UX overhaul to align with current and future business goals.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of professional experience as a UX Designer, with proven experience in both research and design.
- Proficiency in Figma, with the ability to transition designs from Sketch and rebuild complex mockups.
- Experience in user research methodologies, including qualitative research, interviews, and usability testing.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and the ability to create scalable, intuitive designs.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including leadership and developers.
- Familiarity with the automotive, powersports, or related industries is a plus.
- Experience working onsite is required.
Contract Talent The salary range for this position is 55/hr to 60/hr. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
