We are offering an exciting opportunity in Los Angeles, California, for a VP/Director of Finance to join our team. This role involves leading the accounting department, managing cash balances and banking relationships, and preparing for annual audits and tax return preparation. Responsibilities: • Supervising the accounting department, fostering goal development, and providing regular feedback and support.• Overseeing all general ledger accounting aspects.• Managing cash balances and investments and maintaining banking relationships.• Coordinating the annual audit and tax return preparation.• Maintaining the month-end close-out process.• Preparing monthly revenue analysis and entering the corresponding journal entry.• Collaborating with the Controller to produce cash flow analyses and forecasts.• Ensuring the timely disbursement of payroll, including garnishments, benefits, and taxes, in compliance with federal and state wage and hour laws.• Assisting with the creation and implementation of the annual budget and performing regular projections to aid with budget modifications.• Participating in regular meetings with program leadership, providing financial reports, and serving as a liaison between programs and finance.• Analyzing key vendor relationships to ensure cost efficiency.• Collaborating with the Director of Fiscal Grant Management and Consulting CFO to maximize grants and keep program staff informed of grant performance.• Participating in Board, Finance Committee, and Audit Committee meetings.
Salary : $145,000 - $190,000
