THIS ROLE REQUIRES TO BE IN CEDAR RAPIDS WEEKLY
Team Leadership and Mentoring :
Delegate tasks and determine responsibilities within the team effectively
Monitor team performance and provide relevant metrics to management
Approve team members' time-off and expense reports
Be actively involved in recruitment processes of new developers
Maintain the capacity to instruct and mentor team members
Engineering and Development :
Ensure availability, reliability, and scalability of systems and projects at design level, coordinate necessary resources with other IT departments
Work with management to determine best practices, design patterns, and coding standards
In collaboration with the department director, research and propose new technologies and software libraries to enhance the technical quality of the delivered product
Assist in daily development tasks, focusing on code reviews, logical flows, and quality of delivered code
Make sure code complies with internal standards for documentation and testing
Project Management :
Collaborate with management and clients to thoroughly understand the business and product
Evaluate project risks, make appropriate recommendations
Tackle identified challenges in collaboration with the management
Be the product owner and business representative
Coordinate project releases, pre-release training, and post-deployment feedback with clients, QA department, and stakeholders
