Summary
A healthcare membership organization is seeking a skilled WordPress Developer/Designer to take full ownership of its existing website. The current site is hosted and maintained externally and needs to be migrated, redesigned, and optimized for functionality, visual appeal, and long-term scalability. The role includes integrating the site with Salesforce for member onboarding and lead management, implementing effective list control, and improving overall site operations. You’ll work directly with executive stakeholders and media partners to deliver a user-friendly, dynamic digital experience aligned with the organization’s goals.
Responsibilities
- Migrate the current WordPress site from external hosting, or evaluate and recommend the best hosting solution.
- Redesign the site to improve layout, user experience, and mobile responsiveness.
- Maintain the website with regular updates, performance monitoring, and security best practices.
- Connect WordPress/MemberPress with Salesforce for seamless member data capture.
- Ensure deduplication of leads and optimize list management within the Salesforce environment.
- Implement and customize a membership plugin (e.g., MemberPress) for gated content and user portals.
- Enhance the site’s interactivity and visual quality based on feedback and comparative research.
- Collaborate with leadership, media partners, and part-time technical staff to align on digital priorities.
- Document site changes, integration workflows, and provide CMS training to non-technical users.
- Ensure that inbound communication forms and calls are routed correctly to external partners.
Qualifications
- 3 years of hands-on WordPress development, including custom themes and plugins.
- Strong command of PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and MySQL.
- Experience with WordPress membership plugins (preferably MemberPress).
- Proficiency in integrating WordPress with Salesforce via APIs or middleware (e.g., Zapier).
- Knowledge of Salesforce lead management and deduplication techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to build modern, user-friendly, visually appealing websites.
- Familiarity with responsive frameworks (e.g., Tailwind, Bootstrap).
- Ability to work independently while communicating effectively with executives and cross-functional teams.
- Organized and proactive, with strong documentation and stakeholder management skills.
Contract Talent The salary range for this position is 45/hr to 51/hr. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
