Position Overview

State Farm Insurance Agent located in Austell, GA is seeking an outgoing, career-oriented professional to join their team. As a State Farm team member for Robert James - State Farm Agent, you will build and develop customer relationships within the community to promote State Farm products including auto, home and life insurance.

Responsibilities

Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.
Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success each and every day.

Hourly pay plus commission / bonus

Requirements

Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred

Successful track record of meeting sales goals / quotas preferred

Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening

Self-motivated

Proactive in problem-solving

Experience in a variety of computer applications, particularly Windows

Ability to make presentations to potential customers

Life and Health license (must be able to obtain)

Property and Casualty license (must be able to obtain)

Courses on ethical and customer-centered sales practices will be required

Selected candidate is expected to remain current in product changes, licensing, technical developments, and continuing education

Position may require irregular working hours

Associate's degree or higher preferred

SPANISH SPEAKER A PLUS

Salary : $35,000 - $54,000
