About The Role
We’re hiring a full-time Regional Sales Manager to lead account growth and new business development across our MidwestRegion, including IL, MO, NE, and KS plus surrounding areas. This is a remote position with significant travel (60–75%) across the assigned territory, including car and air travel for in-person customer appointments and events.
As a company employee, you’ll take full ownership of your region—managing key relationships, driving strategic growth, and working closely with internal teams to support our retail partners. You’ll inherit an established book of businesses and will be expected to build on that foundation with a proactive, results-driven mindset. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow an existing portfolio of B2B accounts across your assigned territory
- Prospect and close new business opportunities with independent retailers and select regional partners
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with customers through regular in-person visits, phone, and email communication
- Present new product lines and core collections during scheduled appointments and trade events
- Meet or exceed sales targets and provide accurate forecasting
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, customer experience, and operations teams
- Represent the Robert Kaufman brand with integrity, professionalism, and creativity
- 5 years of sales and account management experience
- Strong background in textiles, hand-crafts, or a closely related product category (required)
- Strategic thinker with a high level of ownership and accountability
- Highly organized with excellent communication and presentation skills
- Comfortable traveling by car and air up to 75% of the time
- Self-starter who thrives in a remote work environment and on the road
