WHAT TO EXPECT IN THIS POSITION
As a Structural Project Manager, you will:
- Lead: Oversee the planning, design, and execution of structural engineering projects, ensuring high-quality, technically sound, and compliant solutions.
- Innovate: Guide your team through complex structural design challenges, leveraging the latest tools and techniques, including Revit and FEM software, to deliver creative and efficient solutions.
- Strategize: Develop and implement marketing and business development strategies to strengthen RPA’s presence in the structural engineering market.
- Collaborate: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, government agencies, contractors, and industry professionals, ensuring alignment with their needs and satisfaction with our services.
- Develop: Enhance RPA’s reputation for excellence in engineering by delivering projects that exceed client expectations and advance industry standards.
- Mentor: Provide training, guidance, and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical growth and collaboration.
- Deliver: Perform and oversee structural analysis, design calculations, and construction documents. Ensure accurate, detailed, and timely project delivery, including QA/QC processes.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for candidates with:
- Education: Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering (preferred) or equivalent.
- Licensure: Professional Engineering (PE) license in Montana or the ability to obtain within six months.
- Experience: 6 years of progressive experience in structural engineering, including project management (preferred). Proven track record in leading complex structural projects.
- Skills: Proficiency in structural analysis, design, and detailing of steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structures. Experience with Revit (preferred), FEM software, and advanced design tools.
- Attributes: Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
