You will draft and negotiate venture capital investment agreements, lead negotiations of key terms, supervise, train and mentor associates in all aspects of venture capital financing. Furthermore, you will provide valuable advice to emerging companies on typical matters that arise in their day-to-day operations. Your excellent communication skills will be crucial as you engage with board members, shareholders, and colleagues.Drafting and negotiating venture capital investment agreements including NVCA formsLeading negotiations of key terms of all venture capital investment agreementsSupervising, training and mentoring associates in all aspects of venture capital financingAdvising emerging companies on typical matters that arise in their day-to-day operations, including board and stockholder communications and approvals and equity awardsWhat you bring : The ideal candidate for the Corporate Attorney (Venture Capital & Emerging Companies) role brings a wealth of experience in venture capital and emerging company practice. With a minimum of four years' experience under your belt, you are well-versed in drafting and negotiating venture capital investment agreements. Your knowledge extends beyond legal expertise into practical business applications such as Excel and capitalization tables. Your excellent communication skills complement your professionalism when engaging with clients and colleagues.
