What you'll do:
As an Electrical Group Leader/Associate Vice President, you will play a pivotal role in managing engineering teams working on renewable energy projects. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include leading the electrical design of large-scale renewable energy power plants, performing and reviewing various electrical studies, drafting and reviewing cable schedules, coordinating with other design disciplines for effective project design, and managing specific projects and clients. Your expertise in electrical engineering will be crucial in ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards.
- Lead and review the electrical design of large-scale renewable energy power plants
- Perform and review various electrical studies including short circuit, arc flash, protection coordination, insulation coordination studies, grounding studies, ampacity studies
- Draft and review cable schedules (DC, AC LV, AC MV)
- Review construction drawings, calculations, and studies completed by the Electrical Group members under your supervision
- Coordinate with other design disciplines for effective project design
- Manage specific projects and clients in the context of the Energy Practice
What you bring:
As an Electrical Group Leader/Associate Vice President, you bring a wealth of experience in electrical design and team management. You have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field and hold a PE (Electrical) certification. With at least five years of demonstrated electrical design experience under your belt, you are adept at managing engineering teams. Your strong project management skills coupled with your excellent written and verbal communication abilities make you an asset to any team. Additionally, your proficiency in industry-standard electrical engineering tools such as ETAP, XGSLab, DigSilent, AUTOCAD sets you apart from others.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
