Key Responsibilities

As the Sales Director, you will be the executive over a small and nimble team that is building and growing a new venture. You will provide direction to internal teams and engage with external vendors. Your role has both operational and strategic responsibilities. You'll run the business that you will have helped build: fostering customer relationships with carriers, delivering operational excellence, and expanding into new innovative loss reduction products.

  • Provide strategic direction to internal teams and engage with external vendors

  • Build strong relationships with carriers and work with third-party tech partners to generate business
  • Utilize data analytics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
  • Provide leadership oversight for the team and the product

Key Requirements

The ideal Sales Director will bring a wealth of experience in leadership roles, particularly within the property insurance industry. You should have a proven track record of developing and executing go-to-market strategies, implementing complex business initiatives, and driving growth in competitive markets. Your entrepreneurial spirit will be key in fostering the growth of this new venture.

  • Proven leadership skills with 15 years of experience, including 10 in leadership roles
  • Entrepreneurial experience fostering a business, product or practice area’s growth
  • Background in property insurance industry broker, consultant, operations, or executive; having homeowners product knowledge is a plus
  • Track record of developing and executing go-to-market strategies
  • Experience in implementing complex business initiatives
  • History of driving growth and profitability in competitive markets
