Robert Woodall Auto is searching an Experienced General Sales manager.
This position has great compensation potential (85k to 125k per year) at one of Danville’s Largest Family owned automotive groups. Robert Woodall Auto is family owned dealer who has been in operation since 1985. With a tradition of excellence, commitment and delivering great customer satisfaction.
The right candidate will have a track record of exceeding sales goals and growth targets while delivering great customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for desking deals, closing customer transactions, inventory, hiring and training sales staff, and motivating sales personnel.
Responsibilities Include (not an exhaustive list)
- Work directly with our employees and customers to develop relationships and build rapport.
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
- Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
- Provide training and support to the sales staff, assisting with closing customer transactions.
- Own recruiting, objectives setting, and performance monitoring
- Complete regular meetings/training with staff
- Identify emerging issues and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
Skills/Requirements for the right candidate
- Must be customer focused.
- Successful previous experience as a Sales Representative, Finance Manager, Sales Manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
- Enthusiastic and maintain High Energy throughout a long day
- Friendly personality, especially when handling objections and negotiations
- Committed to continuous education through manufacturer certifications, workshops, seminars and conferences
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
- Strong business sense and industry expertise
- Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
- Fluent with dealership systems, DMS, Dealertrack, and CRMs.
