SUMMARY:
As a Junior Account Executive, you will be responsible for achieving profitable sales and service efforts for your assigned territory. You will work alongside the Director of Sales and the Sales team while learning what it takes to become a successful Account Executive.
You act as the first point of contact with your assigned existing clients. You answer their inquiries, increase client satisfaction, and continuously hunt and close new business. You will use your communication skills to identify and address clients’ needs while representing Robertet in a positive way.
You love the challenge that comes with identifying target customers and then directly reach out to them and introduce them to Robertet, its products, and its services. You contribute to building profitable and long-term relationships with our clients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Gather information on assigned clients (e.g. company size, needs and pricing plans)
- Contact clients to understand their requirements and work on a sales plan
- Provide after-sales support to retain customers
- Ensure prompt and accurate answers to clients’ inquiries
- Build strong client relationships, through regular communication
- Promote new products/services to existing customers
- Unearth new sales opportunities through networking and turn them into long term partnerships
- Report on the status of accounts
- Coordinate with Director of Sales to create customized sales plans for key clients
- Respond to complaints and resolve issues aiming to customer contentment and the preservation of the company’s reputation
- Negotiate spot sales, forward contracts. Long term agreements should involve Director of Sales. Communicate product and pricing details clearly.
- Keep records of sales and data including but not limited to visit reports, company insights, sales potential in volume and value, and market share.
COMPETENCIES:
- Proven experience in Sales and Marketing, or other industry related role
- Understanding of sales principles and ability to deliver excellent customer experience
- Strong (verbal and written) communication skills with an ability to build relationships
- Effective presentation and negotiation skills
- High degree of professionalism
- Good time-management skills with a problem-solving attitude
- Outstanding knowledge of MS Office / Office 365
- Enthusiastic and passionate
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
- BS/BA degree in business administration, sales or marketing
- Industry experience/relationships
- Business skills
Preferred:
Sales/Marketing or Chemical degree w/ relevant industry experience
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Indoor office environment, plus travel and entertainment as required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This position requires extensive travel.
