Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Staff Auditor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity of financial reporting and compliance with regulatory standards. This position requires a strong understanding of financial concepts, auditing practices, and regulatory reporting. As a Staff Auditor, you will be responsible for conducting financial audits, analyzing data, and preparing comprehensive reports.
Responsibilities
- Work on multiple aspects of audit and review engagements:
- Completing audit testing on financial statement accounts
- Working with client personnel to reconcile financial data
- Conduct audit procedures
- Execute engagement planning activities, which include gathering information for time budgets, coordinating all planning activities on engagements with supervision, and designing a risk-based audit approach.
- Continually communicate engagement status to managers.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.
- Assist in the preparation of regulatory reporting documentation.
- Evaluate internal controls and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Perform general ledger accounting tasks and ensure accurate financial recordkeeping.
- Continuously develop a comprehensive understanding of Generally Accepted Auditing Standards and how they apply to engagements.
- Maintain and strengthen existing client and referral relationships.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Preferably pursuing CPA License.
- 1-2 Years experience in financial auditing or regulatory reporting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and financial concepts.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools for data analysis.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial information.
- Strong written communication skills for effective financial report writing.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Excellent use of Microsoft Office and Adobe PDF Skills.
- Preferably Quickbooks experience.
- Bilingual

Pay: $3,300.00 - $3,850.00 per month
