Roberts County Jail is seeking a compassionate, dedicated professional to join our team as Correctional Nurse , delivering critical healthcare services to our inmate population.
Job Purpose and Summary
As a Correctional Nurse, you will care for individuals who are sick, injured, or otherwise in need of medical assistance within a correctional setting. Under general supervision, you will :
- Provide nursing care utilizing assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation skills.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective healthcare delivery and improved patient outcomes.
- Promote and improve overall health among a diverse inmate population, many of whom may not have had consistent access to healthcare prior to incarceration.
