What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Estimator position at Roberts Excavation Corporation?
A Northern Colorado site-work and utility contractor is seeking a Senior Estimator to join our tight knit team.
This is an executive leadership position and it carries great responsibility and opportunity with it. This is a company that lives and breathes character and ethics, and we all believe in doing work that matters (work bigger than one’s self). If you have at least 5 years of construction estimating experience and a strong passion for integrity, please keep reading.
We have been in business for over 34 years, and have developed a strong culture during that time. As a recent recipient of a prestigious ethics award, we are absolutely committed to doing the right thing in EVERY situation, and we strive to uphold that honor in all that we do. We are looking for a Senior Estimator to join our mission for excellence!
This full time position reports directly to the President, and you will be working in a small office environment, collaborating with our office and field staff regularly. You will be estimating and bidding on various projects with our scope of work including full site earthwork and utility construction for commercial/ Industrial projects. There will be some project management responsibilities as well. Your efforts are critical to the success of our organization!
We have developed long term relationships with most of our clients, and a vast majority of our work is repeat business often won through a negotiating process (rather than purely hard bid). We also offer a tried and tested estimating system and process that you will thoroughly be trained on upon joining the team.
