Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Transportation Coordinator to join our team at Roberts Hawaii. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of our customers.
Responsibilities
- Obtain and maintain all necessary documents and certifications as required by DOT regulations
- Perform daily pre-trip inspections of vehicles and complete a Driver's Inspection Report
- Fuel and wash company equipment as needed
- Notify dispatch of any changes in trip route or schedule and receive prior authorization
- Assist passengers with special needs and secure wheelchairs
- Pick-up and drop-off passengers in an orderly and efficient manner
- Label and load luggage according to destination
- Report counts, changes, and destination to dispatcher
Requirements
- 21 years old or older
- Knowledge of local streets and hotel locations
- Able to read, speak, and understand English
- Valid CDL A or B license with P endorsement (preferred)
- Ability to perform simple math functions
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Working Conditions
The Transportation Coordinator will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines and pressure. The position requires standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods. The ideal candidate must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
Salary Information
We offer a competitive salary range of $29.50 - $31.50 per hour, commensurate with experience.
