Overview We are seeking a motivated individual who is either eager to learn or already possesses the skills necessary to be a Supervisor for our Construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various construction disciplines, including carpentry, roofing, and remodeling. As a supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations on site, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. You will also be responsible for estimating, scheduling, ordering, and handling day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction workers on-site.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Oversee the execution of tasks such as forming, caulking, and roofing.
- Collaborate with customers and employees for scheduling
- Train and mentor team members in construction techniques and safety practices.
- Inspect work for quality assurance and adherence to project specifications.
- Manage heavy lifting tasks and ensure proper handling of materials.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction management or as a Supervisor in a similar role.
- Proficiency in frame carpentry, concrete forming, remodeling, roofing, and maintenance person skills.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by job duties.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and project stakeholders.
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to construction sites.
