Company History
Roberts Tool & Die Company was initially founded in 1984 to design, build and maintain tools and dies for local manufacturers. In 1987 Roberts Tool & Die Company established a CNC lathe and machining division which were then followed by wire EDM operations. Roberts Tool & Die Company’s growth and expansion continued in 1990 to a second plant, Graves Street, where metal stamping and manufacture provided products to regional and national customers in the automotive, transportation, farm implement, appliance and home & commercial construction industries. Today, Roberts Tool & Die Company has three divisions complimenting each other, Tool & Die, CNC Machining and Stamping. The company’s primary goal is to continue to grow and prosper within the industry, where quality and satisfaction requirements are mutually beneficial to both entities meeting strict customer specifications and tolerances by measuring itself through a comprehensive Quality Assurance program.
Quality Inspector Preferred Requirements & Responsibilities
Quality Inspector responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following:
- Preferred minimum 2 years quality experience and no less than 1 year in fabrication/manufacturing as a qualified inspector
- Preferred detailed understanding of quality inspection equipment as well as jigs, fixtures and gauges.
- Preferred computer, clerical, recordkeeping, customer service and organizational skills
- Reading and interpretation of part blueprints including understanding:
- G*eometric Dimensioning & T*olerancing
- Fabrication/Machining/Stamping Processes knowledge
- Time Management
-Recordkeeping
- Organization
- Customer Service
- Advanced shop math skills
- Microsoft Office knowledge
- ISO 9001 knowledge
- Master Cam and Auto Cad Software knowledge a plus
- Team oriented
- Willing and able to work overtime when needed

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
