The Client:

Their Real Estate Finance division specializes in structured lending solutions for commercial real estate, supporting institutional investors, developers, and corporate borrowers. They engage in commercial real estate financing, including residential, office, retail, and logistics assets, ensuring innovative and strategic lending solutions.
What you will achieve in this role:
- Conduct in-depth credit analysis and risk assessment for real estate finance transactions, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive credit applications, reviews, and risk assessments for new and existing clients.
- Manage a portfolio of real estate loans, overseeing credit risk, covenant monitoring, and loan performance tracking.
- Evaluate financial statements, operating data, and market trends to support sound credit decision-making.
- Engage with clients to assess financial viability, structure loan terms, and ensure adherence to loan agreements.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with loan defaults, working closely with internal risk teams to develop resolution strategies.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and internal records, ensuring accuracy in reporting and compliance with audit requirements.
- Support cross-border transactions and liaise with international credit risk management teams to align financial strategies.
What you must bring to this role:
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate finance, credit risk assessment, or commercial lending.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, economics, or a related field.
- Must bring a strong expertise in financial statement analysis, loan underwriting, and portfolio management.
- Must have familiarity with U.S. and Canadian real estate markets, lending regulations, and financial industry standards.
- Must have exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and assess borrower creditworthiness.
- Must be proficient in financial modeling tools and industry software, particularly Excel.
- Must have experience working with international lending teams and knowledge of global risk management frameworks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- German language proficiency is considered an asset.
