Stocker
Essential Functions: The Stocker is responsible for stocking and replenishing products to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of orders and shipping schedules, as well as assisting in inventory control and pallet monitoring.
Significant Responsibilities:
- Move, handle, and transport product timely and ensure that the product is stored according to established procedure.
- Pull product timely and efficiently from replenishment report according to established procedure.
- Stock product from the replenishment, pull into forward pick location.
- Stock product from Production that has been received.
- Help in Inventory Control when needed.
- Help with Pallet Count that is done on a monthly basis.
- Monitor the bulk and pallet location to see where product can be put in a pull bin location.
- Willingness to be trained, certified, and operate a forklift and/or cherry picker.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Reliable attendance is required as work cannot be performed remotely.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
- Support Robertson Marketing’s mission and comply with all policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications Required:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: Previous fulfillment and/or warehouse related experience a plus, but not required.
Licensure, Certification and/or Registration: Forklift certification preferred, but not required.
Other Minimum Qualifications: Effective interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills.
Essential Skills, Abilities & Knowledge:
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail, ability to recognize inconsistencies and make corrections to ensure accuracy.
- Excellent computer and analytical skills.
- Ability to become certified, meeting OSHA’s minimum standards to operate a forklift.
- Ability to work independently and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to remain focused and motivated when performing repetitive actions.
- Ability to work within the guidelines of safety rules and regulations.
- Must demonstrate the willingness to learn new skills, work well with others and always present a professional positive attitude.
Physical Demands:
Warehouse area environment. Will regularly be required to carry, lift, push or pull weights up to 50 Lbs. Will walk or stand 90% of the time and operator a forklift 10% of the time. This position is responsible for the operation of a forklift which requires sight sufficient for equipment use and significant detail for stocking and replenishing product. This position also requires an individual with hearing sufficient for telephone contact as well as in person communication.
