As an Inspector at Robertson's Ready Mix, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and safety of our concrete products. This position is essential to our commitment to excellence and innovation in serving our customers throughout Southern California.
Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections of raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to assess equipment functionality and safety.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on machinery used in production processes.
- Document inspection results and report any discrepancies or issues to management.
- Collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist in training staff on quality control measures and inspection processes.
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge relevant to construction materials and processes.
- Experience with hand tools and power tools used in inspection and maintenance tasks.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for inspections and equipment checks.
- Familiarity with automotive repair is beneficial but not essential.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills for assessing product quality.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
- Seeking a candidate with little to some experience, we do offer training.
- Experience is a HUGE plus.
- State testing, vehicle inspections, smog checking experience preferred .
