SOCIAL WORKER IDESCRIPTION OF WORK : This position provides assistance to families and individuals that arein need of Day Care services. The social worker is responsible forproviding counseling with the family concerning appropriate day carearrangements and is responsible for arranging day care placements. Mustdisplay knowledge of the social work profession and specific knowledgeof the growth and developmental needs of young children. Social Workerswill have considerable knowledge of types of day care programsavailable in their area and the ability to plan with parents toward theimplementation of the appropriate programs to meet the needs of theirchildren.MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree in a human services field from an appropriatelyaccredited institution; Bachelor's degree from an appropriatelyaccredited institution and one year of directly related experience; oran equivalent combination of education and experience.APPLICATIONPROCESS : Interested applicants must contact Division of WorkforceSolutions (910-887-6950) at 289 Corporate Drive Suite B, Lumberton, NCby 5 : 00 pm on January 6, 2025.
