About the Role :

The Maintenance position is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing processes by maintaining and repairing machinery and equipment. This role involves conducting regular inspections, troubleshooting issues, and performing preventive maintenance to minimize downtime. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing maintenance schedules and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Additionally, they will collaborate with production teams to identify areas for improvement and optimize equipment performance. Ultimately, the goal of this position is to enhance operational efficiency and contribute to the overall productivity of the manufacturing facility.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in maintenance or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Technical certification in maintenance or a related discipline.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Responsibilities :

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment and machinery.
  • Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and ensure equipment is operating efficiently.
  • Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records of repairs and inspections.
  • Collaborate with production staff to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to operations.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance tasks.
  • Skills :

    The required skills for this position include mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities, which are essential for diagnosing and repairing equipment issues. Attention to detail is crucial when conducting inspections and documenting maintenance activities to ensure compliance with safety standards. Communication skills are important for collaborating with production teams and effectively scheduling maintenance tasks. Preferred skills such as technical certifications and experience with CMMS can enhance the candidate's ability to streamline maintenance processes and improve equipment reliability.
