A typical day for a Resident Programs Assistant includes:
- Assisting in the coordination, direction and delivery of wellness and recreation programs to meet specific needs of our Residents
- Escorting Residents to and from activities
- Appropriately and descriptively charting Resident progress and behavior
- Making regular in-room visits to Residents either uninterested or unable to participate in Group activities
Resident Programs Assistant Requirements:
- High school Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
- Positive, energized Team Player
- Must be a self-starter and able to work independently
- High attention to detail and excellent at follow-up
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- Previous experience/direct programming experience with older adults preferred
- Proof of Covid-19 Vaccination
