Our organization is seeking a highly motivated Social Services Director to lead our social services department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating activities of the social services department. They will oversee the work of social workers, counselors, and other support staff in providing assistance to clients.
Robin Run Village is an amazing community that sits on beautiful 86-acre campus that includes Independent Living, Assisted Living, Alzheimer’s & Dementia Care, Skilled Nursing, and personalized living services that bring compassionate care back into health care.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement social service programs to meet the needs of our clients
- Provide leadership and guidance to social workers and other support staff
- Ensure that social service programs are in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations and government agencies
- Manage budgets and allocate resources effectively
- Provide training and support to staff as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in social services, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
