Bakery Assistant

Job Title: Cashier/FOH

This position is for someone with experience working in a bakery. We are looking for someone who knows baked goods, and loves people! The more years of experience (10 ), the better!

Some of the duties include:

POS, taking phone orders, dishes, cleaning, merchandising the cases with cakes, pies, cookies, scones, biscuits, breads, quiche, and more!

We open at 8 AM, and close at 4 PM, soon 5 PM. We need help from 12-6 Friday through Sunday.

Candidate must be experienced, mature, self-motivated, goal oriented, able to work with a team of trained and experienced bakers and baristas.

We would like to find a special person to help us grow our bakery side of the business. Bakery display and packaging experience a big plus! We are also known as 17 Hands Coffee, and Robin Simmons Bakery bakes for the coffee shop. We also sell directly to our customers whole cakes, pies, quiche, cookies, scones, breads, and more! We're locally owned, and have been in business over 5 years. We are located on the edge of Kempsville and VB, very close to Greenbrier in Chesapeake.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 – 29 per week
